Just thought I would give a heads up to anyone looking to put in winter rye yet this fall in the eau claire area. I just picked up some for 8.49 a 50#. Test date is 5-10 and it is screened! 
The local coop is selling it for 14 a bushell so this is a pretty good price for around here. I stumbled on to it at Stockmans in Osseo as I was buying some more ingredients for my mineral licks. By the way, cheapest place to buy that stuff too. $54 total for di-cal, salts, and molassas! Cost me $82 at the coop 4 months ago.
