Hidden falls has its fair share of hidden boulders, Lilydale isnt always the smoothest either.

494 is usually ok to slide the boat up on shore using caution, I cant recall hitting anything there. I would suggest 494.

I agree 494 is probably the best, though I think hidden is do able if you park the boat carefully on shore you can seem to avoid the boulders.

best to have 2 people and try and not really beach the boat. Glad to have a keel guard, but it doesn’t help in all circumstances.

There is a public launch in St. Paul Park next to Willie’s Hidden Harbor. Two lanes if I remember correctly, out of the main channel in a public park. Nice launch.

I planned to fish the upper end so I figured it would be best to put in up there. It sounds like it would be wiser to check out the 494 launch…thanks for the info!

Ramp at Fort Snelling State park on Minnesota river by confluence is a great ramp with a dock and lots of parking. Free to launch, but need a state park sticker.

The shore along side the 494 ramp is sand. Not as good as a dock but better than rocks. If you do launch there and run all the way up to the confluence, be aware that most of the way through St. Paul is posted No Wake. A chance to enjoy the day I guess

Sometimes it will take 1 to 2 weeks to work. Depends which stuff you got. The stuff we get in the big drum works a lot faster then the stuff you can get from fleet farm. As far as sitting around for a year I wouldn’t worry about it. It should work.

the rate changes based on the height of your weeds. I sometimes use 2 quarts per acre. try and use at least 15 gallons of water per acre and also add a surfactant for best results.swimingjig is right it may take 2 weeks to see results.
