Just wondering if anyone has bought them online before and what they thought. Its the retailers brand. They have nice prices for some good “looking” baits, my only question is the quality. I’ll probably be answering it for myself soon when I take them for a test run.

I thought Gander was going to be in trouble when Academy opened across the street down here, but gander still has more brand names. They have a slightly more limited selection, I assume because of their own H2O brand. For example, I didn’t find Shadow Raps in the store.

I’ve heard good things about their square bills and MB Vision 110 copy, which is a floater, but they say doesn’t take much to make it suspend.

This past year I got the H2O Ultimate Jerk Shads, Slush Daddy and Slush Minnow bladed topwaters. Was pleased with all 3 baits. Replacing the hooks is probably a good idea on the Slush Minnow and Jerk Shad.

I’m confused? You seem to contradict yourself. Or do you mean their cranks are good, but their other stuff is crap?

Oh you’re talking about the rods and reels? Yeah, I wouldn’t even consider those.
