Looking for suggestions for a gun safe. Biggest concerns are safety from fire, heat, and water. Definitely want something big. The intended purpose will NOT be for guns.

    Thanks,

I bought a Stack On fireproof 17 gun safe from Ace on the south side of LaCrosse a few years back. I would check with them. I’m satisfied with mine although it hasn’t been put to the “supreme test” thank God!!! applause

Liberty, stack-On, Cannon, ….. all very good safes. Key is to go on their website and read the specific details for what attributes your looking for. In the case of fire proof/heat resistance for documents, there are a ton of manufactures out there.

Here is a list of 54 of them with a quick description of the company. I pro-staffed for and rep’d Liberty and stack on. They each make safes that are branded under other dealer names as well.

I think the hardest thing your going to find is protection against water. Most gun safes would get water inside if submersed in water.
