    Any one have any advice on where to try for walleyes? Never fished it before but going tomorrow. Thanks

    you will be lucky to get one to bite there on a saturday in the middle of july. go at 5 am or after dark would be my advice…..dog days!

    If I was dead set to target eyes, I would look very deep or very deep in the weeds. water temps got to be in the mid 80’s?

    Definitely go at night. Even that might not work.

    You might give trolling a big (18)Rapala out over the deepest water starting around 30 minutes before sundown until the skeeters drive you crazy. Some lakes up in that area are known for that tactic. Not a numbers game but the fish can be big.
