Not sure if many here are in the Saint Cloud / Sartell area but if you are and looking for GREAT sweet corn, There is a place just off of 19th Ave on 1st Street ( Just West of the roundabout on 19th and 6th St. ) It is by FAR the best sweet corn that I’ve got anyplace this season and probably the best I’ve ever had. They said they have a TON of it but it will only be this good for a few more days or maybe a week. They are also bringing ALOT of it over to the food shelf every few days. Those are the kind of people I want to support. If you are in the area, stop over there and get you some.

Sweet corn was the only thing I looked forward to at the end of summer.

Down here Florida sweet corn season is Oct-June. Very weird.

I’ve been like a steer in a feedlot on the sweet corn lately. It makes such a great carrier for butter and salt.

fishthumper, what are they charging for it. i just got 4 doz free of charge!!!!!! peace peace

but the last veggie stand i went ot they still wanted 10 bucks a doz.

with no state fair to ship it to i think pretty soon there is gonna be a lot of cheap sweet corn to be had.

Klinglehutz stand in waconia has been great this year. They have been 7 for bakers dozen. Out west on 7 I saw quite a bit for 5, I would think the price should come back down at some point in the next couple of weeks.

They are asking $5.00 for a dozen but give you way more than 12. I bet if you were looking for a large amount they would really cut you a deal. They said soon they will start selling the 2nd ears. They said they are smaller but normally even better tasting.

Stopped and picked up a dozen this morning. Stuff is fantastic. Really nice folks also. Current batch is getting low. If you don’t see signs on the road they are out of stock for now but more coming soon. Thanks thump
