Stumbled upon a pic I took in 2007. Anyone recogize this scene?
If anyone has seen the David Spade movie “Joe Dirt” this is exactly where he was abandoned as a kid at the “Grand Canyon”. I believe it is the Colorado River but it’s not in Arizona or the Grand Canyon. This is actually Dead Horse State Park in Moab, Utah. The view in the distance is the Island in the Sky portion of Canyonlands National Park. I remember seeing in the movie and saying “Wait a minute, I know that spot”.
