.GPX file will not load to my 798 or 898 SI units

    I need some help please. I feel like my issue is operator error.

    I have 798 and a 898 SI unit. I have some .GPX files and I cannot get either unit to recognize the .GPX file when I insert the SD card.
    I insert the same SD card with the software update on it and it recognizes it right away.

    What can I be doing wrong? A buddy tells me he loads a SD card with a .GPX file and his unit immediately recognizes it.

    I have 2 units and I cannot get either unit to load it.

    I am pretty sure you could use HumminbirdPC to convert the files as well.

    HumminbirdPC is a free download and a great tool for birds.

    Need to use Babel or like program to convert gpx to hwr file. Goggle is your friend. I was also told to label the file on the sd card “matrix”.
