Garmin Nuvi / lakemaster chip ?

Has anyone here used the lakemaster chip for a garmin nuvi if so how did it work, any problems with it?

I was also interested in the lakemaster chip for the Nuvi. Wondering if it leaves a track as you go on to the lake and if you can put in way points? Thanks

I have a lakemaster chip in a Nuvi 500. I am very happy with it.

Out of curiosity I have tried the chip in other Nuvi’s and while it will work in most, it does not perform like it does in the 500. I believe it would also work well in the 550.
