anyone know if Lakemaster has fixed the missing portion of pool 3 of the mississippi, on the 2010 chip?

is it fixed on the ones sold, or do they offer an update?

if not. does anyone know of any news or rumors when the next chip will be released?

I swear I remember something, about there being a free fix or something if you send them your card, but I can’t say for sure since I wasn’t affected. I think if you dig deeper you’ll find the thread or wait til someone like james hops on, (does he actually log off? )

I just got a deal on a 2010 chip. One thing I noticed is the bouys on the mississippi are all marked opposite. Not a huge deal but kind of funny that they would make the same mistake hundreds maybe thousands of times the whole way down the river.

    And the response:

LakeMaster has surveyed and added in nearly all of the missing Mississippi River data on the latest releases of both HB and Lowrance versions of the Minnesota and Wisconsin digital charts. Additionaly, we have added both Pool 1 and the Blanchard Dam Pool, below Little Falls, to the Minnesota Charts. LakeMaster has the most complete Mississsippi River data available to anglers. We are aware of the work yet to be done, including buoy identification. That information would be on future versions of the charts.

All Garmin nuvis that we know of will display LakeMaster charts. Different functionality of the various models may impact features such as zoom levels. Waypoint and trail questions need to be directed to Garmin as this varies from model to model.

James, could you find out if they’ve finished mapping all of LOTW? I think there were sections not updated in the 2010 version.

I will, but it won’t be until Friday. I’m going to have a call with LM to go through as many changes as they can share with me in one sitting.
