Fishing Hotspots Pro USA Chip

    I’m trying to decide which chip to purchase for my Lowrance Elite 5 DSI… primary uses will be pools 4, 7, and 8 of the Mississippi River as well as a few Minnesota and Wisconsin lakes. Has anyone had any experience with the Fishing Hotspots chip?

    You may want to look into the new Lowrance chips. I’ve only seen a small amount of what they have to offer, and I was impressed and that’s coming from someone wiht 15+ lake map chips.
    I would go to a store that demos the chip.. Cabelas, Thorne Bros, Capra’s, ECT. ECT.

    I think Mike is on the right track. I’m looking for the same chip you are. I do know that the Nav. HotMaps Platinum doesn’t show anything on the river. I’m sending Lowrance an email now to see if the river is supported. I’ll report back with my findings.

    Just heard back from Lowrance. Their chips don’t have river data.

    Thanks for the heads up… I talked to a guy that’s used the Fishing Hotspots chip, he said it has great coverage of the river. I think I’ll give it a try.
