How well does the Humminbird Minnesota Lakemaster chip work with the Mississippi River? In particular I am interested in how it well it shows wingdams. Does anyone have any example pictures by any chance? I’ll be fishing pool 5a the most.

    Throw depth out the window

Wingdam location is very good. Depth can be off in some locations due to the ever changing nature of a river.

I have the Lakemaster Wisconsin chip, wing dams are right on, but I have found some spots on Pepin that are not anywhere near right. As Smackem stated depth varies from map to real life, river is in a constant state of change.

I have not had a problem with them, I will agree that some of the river seams are off by a few yards. My chip will be for sale as I am upgrading to a lowrance this year and will not be compatible. Send me a PM if your interested!

Thanks for the information guys. I see there are different versions of the Lakemaster Minnesota chip. Is there any difference between version 2 and 3 other than there are more lakes covered on the version 3 chip?

LakeMaster support already answered my question. They just add more lakes to the chips.
