After the big “D” and saving for a bit I finally recovered enough that I recently bought my own home. Wasting money renting was troubeling me. Well anyways I have been movìng and today moved my boat into her new home. She was cramped before and I had to move her diagonal to get hér to fit in the rentals garage. Well she fits really great in the new garage and I am able to walk all the way around her with nothing in the way. Happy! Happy! Happy!

Congrats on the new home! Big day, no doubt about it.

Don’t feel too bad about renting though, as much as it feels like throwing money away. There is plenty of ‘throwing money away’ when you buy and maintain a house too!

It’s also a lot harder for a young person to buy a house nowadays(at least in a lot of areas) than it was 30 years ago. Don’t let anyone tell you you’ve been lazy or anything like that. Better to be renting than foreclose on a home you bought too early.

Enjoy the new place, looks like your boat will be cozy and warm.

Simple things like being able to walk around a boat in the garage are the some of the best things in life.
