Got my new TUCR commander!

Super pumped to find my new TUCR came in the mail today! Thanks guys! Now I need help pairing a reel! I love my shimano Ci4+ on my st croix legend extreme… Was thinking of downsizing to put with my Commander rod! What are some of your experiences with that? Do I need to have an ice reel designed for the cold weather? Would I be fine with the shimano? I fish mostly out of a flip over… But do venture out to hole hop during the day. What are some thoughts? I apologize if this post isn’t in the correct forum… Just too exicited and had to tell/ask for some help! Thanks in advance ! Now, If the ice would cooperate and get here!

I run a Shimano CI4 1000 series on my Commander, zero worries about fishing outside throughout the winter. Lake Trout season I like to run a 2500 CI4!!

How much are you asking for it?

How long did it take to receive your rod after you placed the order?

I ordered 2 Dec. 12th haven’t received them as of yet. I emailed them yesterday to see if they had an idea when they would be here they said 4-5 weeks from ordered date.

Joel, it was ordered in November after Thanksgiving, and came in a few days ago… So roughly 6 weeks is how long it took to get mine! I thought that was pretty quick—even in the middle of the holiday season !
