Awesome game and season! This week should be lit, as the kids say. Biggest WI game of my life for a trip to AT LEAST a Rose Bowl! Can’t believe I’m even typing that.

Well, it’s basically everything the Gopher’s could have wanted. Last game, Big 10 W on the line, and it’s all against the cheese heads. Doesn’t get any bigger than this for a final game and for Sconni I have no doubt this is bigger than thier bowl game.

Good game yesterday in terms of not letting NW even get started yesterday.

Once again, all credit to Fleck and the coaching staff for making good on their promises. The most exciting thing to me is to look at the number of players on this team who are NOT seniors or even Juniors.

Here’s hoping for not just a big win.

Awesome response and game from the Gophers! Fleck deserves a lot of credit and just how he has changed the culture in such a short time is nothing short of amazing. Easily the most exciting the Gophers have been in my lifetime…. and massive showdown against WI for a chance to go to a very legit bowl game… row baby!!

FWIW.. I remember all the crap I took, when I said give Fleck a chance to build “his team”… to all the naysayers… I say “TADA” !!!! RTB and Ski U Mah

I’m a very casual fan. In years past, I would count this as a loss, this year I’m not so sure. I’ll watch if I have nothing better to do, but I’m guessing I’ll have something better to do.

Just watched me Buckeyes humiliate Michisucks. Now to watch my 2nd favorite team Da Gophers row their boat all the way to Indianapolis.

I am 72 and this is the absolute strongest OSU team I ‘ve ever seen.
They actually have 3 valid Heisman Candidates. Chase Young on defense, DK Dobbins running back. Fields the QB.

Does this mean they are unbeatable ? Nope they sometimes lapse into sloppy play. So far they have been able to overcome it.Overconfidence can absolutely wreck a game plan

Hope the Gophers humiliate the cheeseheads.

The better D beat a better offense. Great game by the badgers.

Outplayed, out coached, out everything-ed. Too bad. Still one heckuva season for the Gophers. Still on board with PJ but he’s got some learning to do.

Wisconsin looked like they wanted it more today. Guess the axe goes back to Madison for a decade now.

The Gophers are a good passing team and the weather today, ironically, favored WI ground game.

I thought the Gophers hung tough for awhile…. until it fell apart in the 3rd

Heck of a season overall… plenty to be proud of. Biggest thing is the program as a whole looks to be in great shape and lots to build on

It was a great game to be at! The Gophers are a tough team, but one cannot deny that their 10 wins did not come against a tough schedule, and it shows.

The Big 10 West is going to run through Wisconsin or Minnesota for quite a while it seems. Nebraska is in shambles, Iowa seems to be locked in as an above-average, but not great team who will lose some key pieces after this season. The rest are scrambling to catch up.

Harken back to beginning of season. Someone asks a Gopher fan. Would you be happy with same record as Alabama has this year ?

Would any one have said no to that ? Strong seasons normally lead to recruiting success. Recruiting top prospects is how any university builds a dominant program.

Next year should answer the question. On the verge of being elite or elite for sure.

What’s your definition of elite. On the same level as Wisconsin? Penn St? Which isn’t elite, but none the less the Gophers are still miles away from Bucky and PSU as a program. Thats without even bringing up OSU.

The Gophs have a little momentum but don’t have near the talent or depth to even be considered elite, and depth takes years to build.

Wisconsin is hardly Elite… see Illinois game.

Depth can be built in 1 year, if you recruit right…. You have to be kidding, I hope.
