Good year so far

I have been out grouse hunting a few more times this year and have had pretty good success. The numbers are much better this year and I do believe we are on the upswing of the 10 year cycle like most people have been saying. The big thing right now for me has been late morning or early afternoon has seemed to be best as far as walking trails. Granted I do not hunt over a dog or with another person I am still able to flush grouse in the double digits.

I usually hunt superior national forest. Most of the time out of two harbors.
