Good place to launch a boat tomorrow morning?

    I’d like to get the boat out tomorrow morning before the wind kicks up in the afternoon. Want to fire up the engine, check trolling motor, gps, etc. Not a big boat (16 foot tiller) and not looking to run wide open. Looking for some open water and a half way decent launching area. I live in the West metro area. Any suggestions?

    I looked at Maxwell Bay on Tonka today and its almost clear but as luck would have it, the remaining sheet of ice is all at the ramp. Gotta be somewhere else I hope. I could wait a week but have the time tomorrow ~

    Spose I need to get a park pass for Medicine Lake. Where do you get them any way?

    Think they sell em at the booth right when you enter. If anyone’s there.

    $5 or $7 to launch I believe. $30-$35 for season pass. Guy can spend a lot of $$ on passes in a year for launches.

    Sounds good… yeah if I get the season pass then I start doing crazy things like the math on how much it’ll break out per fish over the course of the year ;)
