Gn I have a jiggin rap to try BnI’m old and just about out of line tying light Gn I ty a granny knot to get the pole first drop, I get a 14 inch walleye no pole and now I’m anxious Gn I hook the pole and get it to the surface no fish is on but the minnow and hook are still there made my nite to get her back. BN on Tuesday, the battery on my truck died.

GN I went to get a replacement battery and there were 2 days left on the warranty. New battery, no charge.

BN I was moving snow around and the lights kept dimmer until the truck died. Seems like the alternator is the real problem.

GN it was in my driveway close to the garage so I was able to put it on the charger and get the plow off.

BN I couldn’t get it started to drive into town

GN I will be sitting indoors as I make calls to get it towed and repaired

Hardwater if you have a new battery and charge it to full charge you should be able to start and drive it to a shop.
Run the least amount of electrical items on the truck to get it to a shop for repair.

    GN Took brother inlaw catfishing.
GN Told him to use rod holder.
    BN He did not.
BN Rod went over the side.
GN Caught line with treble and sinker.
    GN Fish was still on.
BN Brother inlaw did not believe me.
BN He is dinking around getting his rod to surface.
GN Told him to set the hook when line got tight.
    BN He did not.
GN Fish was hooked well enough.
GN Finally boated a 38# Flat head.
    GN His first ever catfish.

GN – that was the plan

BN – it didn’t work out

GN – truck has been repaired and is back in working condition

BN tomorrow night calling for temps about -20 with wind chills Thursday and Friday could reach -40. Now too cold to go fishing.
