Anyone have any cover song suggestions?

I’ve been getting into listening to multiple version of classic songs like Poncho and Lefty, Look at Miss Ohio and Unknown Legend back to back by various artists. I enjoy hearing how other artists perform them. Anyhow, I’m looking for some examples of well covered songs I can dig into.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the help, this is great so far. Richard Cheese might have the most festive Holiday in Cambodia cover ever.

I was in the Philippines about a 1/2 dozen times in the late seventies and these little dive bars would have bands playing American rock and they were phenomenal! Stuff like ACDC, Zepplin etc… They could really jam, the singing not so much!

Whitey Morgan’s version of “I’m on fire” is probably my favorite.

I really liked how Pretty Lights re-did Pink Floyds “Time”. This is for a small percentage of people…

If you like the songs of the Beach Boys, look up The Fendertones on YouTube. They’ve got several good covers.
Dwight Yoakam does a good Sloop John B also.

Love J.J. Cale. He was a minimalist guitarist and wrote many great songs made popular as covers. Some more popular songs would be Cocaine and After midnight by Eric Clapton and Call me the breeze by Lynyrd Skynyrd and Louisiana Woman by Waylon Jennings amongst many others. Very talented, singer, songwriter and musician.

Live at the Kennedy Center in front of Page and Plant. They absolutely nailed. I have chills every time I watch it.

Come together and Rocky Mountain way by Godsmack

    Turn the page by Metallica

I don’t care anymore by Hellyeah

Bed company by 5 finger death punch

Forgot one. Not by a harder band but truly one of the best in my opinion.

Man who sold the world by Jordus Unger (Minnesotan). Done by David Bowie back in the 60s.

This just has me going. I search out covers A LOT. I fell down a rabbit hole on you tube one night and found these two gals. MonaLisa Twins. They do a ton of Beatles stuff really well if you like the Beatles.
