I might be purchasing some land near LadySmith, Wi. and was wondering if there were any good walleye lakes in the county. I am not very familiar with the area, so thought I would ask on here.

Holcombe Flowage, dark water so a good day bite.
    Dairyland Reservoir.
Potato lake, also dark water for good day bite.
But I would get to know Holcombe, lots of good fish there.A good map goes a long way, lots of structure.

I agree holcombe is still good but has become very recreational in the past 10 years. Dairyland flowage is a better walleye lake now.
