    My buddy texted me today saying that the 25 acre hay field that borders my stand is going into corn this year. yay

    Ask him to plant the corn so you can see down the rows from your blind vs across the rows ) That corn is going to be a magnet and brassica behind, wow, perfect!!

    Is the corn specifically for a food plot and will be left standing for the season? Or is it an ag field that will be harvested?

    Not that it really matters, it’s a sweet setup regardless. You’ll certainly have the deer focused on that location and the brassicas will just extend their interest.

    It will be for silage but I asked too leave a few acres standing.
