I checked my way out to a shoreline spot this morning and had 4″-6″ all of the way. I was fully prepared to turn back at any point. I only ended up drilling five holes and was able to ice 10-12 ‘eyes and kept a limit. Red and silver VMC Tingler spoons got the job done. Leech has anywhere from 0″-8″ of ice and things can change in just a few yards so we have to be smart out there. There was even one fellow Muskie nut who chopped ice and trolled Walker bay today.
