This ethenol thing runs way deeper than people realize. One only has to look at the NAFTA agreement to see money from our own coffers crossing our own southern boarder into Mexico supporting land to use to grow corn for ethanol. Yes! We’re importing corn for ethanol. Just a guess here, if one were to fallow the money trail for all that land acquired to grow that corn in Mexico is run under American corperations sucking of the tit of the American people. Lets not forget the Mexican land owners forced to give upb that land, and where do many of them and their workers end up.
Big corn is not good for our environment. The price of corn is so low most farmers are losing money before the crop goes in the ground. The farm bill really needs a revision not more ethanol mandates.
