I’m obviously in a different genre than you guys.

    Alice in Chains
    Soundgarden
    Foo Fighters
    White Stripes / Jack White
    Led Zeppelin
    Seether
    Godsmack
    Five Finger Death Punch
    Red line Chemisty
    Tremonti
    Walking Papers

I have 250 songs in my “fishing music” play list, but those are the bands with the most songs.

    Good started list. I’ll add

    Metallica
    Megadeath
    Korn
    Disturbed
    Pantera
    Pearljam
    Stone Temple Pilots

    Many more along those lines.

Love the new stuff from Foo Fighters. Can’t get enough right now!

No need to pack that classic 80s rock stuff. Turn on the radio just about anywhere to listen to that.

One of the benefits of fishing with Jon is he cranks some good tunes. peace

Here’s one that I can’t hear enough of. It’s not the song, but the young ladies voice. Listen carefully. Awesome talent that we will be hearing more of.

C’mon. I can’t be the only one who likes to cut loose with some heavy opera when hitting the road?

Guys, who else likes to crank up the Wagner and sing along?

No, I mean like La Bohème. Which is a totally awesome Puccini opera.

If the Puccini’s too loud, BK, you’re too not Italian enough.

…that last one was to belletaine. Grouse. I hear you too man. Though I’m an old school brasser, so I’m all down with Mahler and Strauss. Especially the “summit” to his Alpine Symphony. Personally though Turandot is Puccini’s best. But I’m not Italian either.

One memory I have relates to trying to get some sleep (as a passenger) on an all nighter out west. Woke up to a blaring guitar riff somewhere in Eastern Montana to the fine road trip selection of “Highway Chile” from Jimi Hendrix.

Mine’s mostly older country, classic rock, and oldies. Nothing will ever beat George Strait for me.
Bob Segar, Rolling Stones, John Mellencamp, AC/DC, Garth Brooks, Springsteen, Waylon, Cash, anything 80s – 90s country. Lately I’ve been really getting into Texas/Red Dirt Country- check out a guy named Aaron Watson.

Texas Country is where it’s at!

For me good tunes is a must, it can make a trip that much better.

    Turnpike Troubadors
    Reckless Kelly
    Cody Johnson
    Casey Donahew Band
    Cody Canada and the Departed

Then there is 80s and 90s country. I find it hard to beat XM Prime Country.

    Randy Travis
    Dwight Yoakam
    Vince Gill
    Clint Black
    Hal Ketchum
    Chris LeDoux
    Ricky Skaggs
    Willie and Waylon

    Good stuff right there.

Belletaine, you’ve got a fellow fan here, actually just saw a Govt. Mule show (with Warren Haynes on guitar) at the State Theatre downtown. Cool stuff!
