We usually go silver spoon or orange colored rattle spoon with a minnow head only on it. Try all different kinds of weights with it.

Hook, line, and sinker are tough to beat up there. Suckers, shiners, rainbows, and fatheads all work well.
As for jigging lures, my go to is a blue chrome Lindy Rattling Flyer, a green UV VMC Tumbler Spoon, or #5 Jigging Rap in blue chrome or the metallic perch color.

Dead stick with a red hook.

    Same principle, but slightly variable.

Could be a glow chartreuse hook down on a rattle reel. The key there is having a line down all day and overnight. Small suckers are great as are big shiners, even fatheads if that’s all you got.

I’ve experimented with every imaginable walleye ice fishing lure, for hours over many days with some limited success.

Many times jigging proactively out of one hole and then hearing a rattle reel jingle behind me with a walleye on.

    Go figure… crazy

Glow Goldfish VMC Tumbler Spoon with a minnow head jigged next to a deadstick with a shiner or sucker has been my best for a couple years up there.
