And then they pulled Josh Jacobs. I’d question the strategy a bit, either you want to win the game or you don’t. Seems like whatever the strategy was it backfired.

With Loves mediocre performances the second half of the season, they might be better with Willis in the playoffs at this point…
JoePosts: 230January 5, 2025 at 3:32 pm #2308795I don’t have any internet here. What’s the score of the Packers game?
January 5, 2025 at 3:33 pm #2308796Da Bears have now been repossessed by the Windy City after a long unhappy stay in the possession of the Cheesehead Kingdom.
BrittmanPosts: 2137January 5, 2025 at 3:46 pm #2308801Bears, Panthers, and Patriots all win today. I get the Packers and Bills holding back, but Atlanta is sure a clown show.
BeastPosts: 1194January 5, 2025 at 4:24 pm #2308815Looked to me they played not to get hurt, that didn’t work for them… that being said, injuries have handcuff this team, corner, wide recover have been a walking band aid all year . I really don’t see them getting past the first round in the playoffs.

Was it as ugly as it sounded??

It was entertaining as all get out from my perspective. That sack fumble of Willis was some hit. My favorite play of the game. I thought for sure the Bears had blown it yet again at the end, but he spiked the ball with time remaining, and the kicker hit. Amazing ending.

It was ugly, not many bright spots for the pack.
TlazerPosts: 726January 5, 2025 at 11:35 pm #2308895Was an ugly game for sure. The only bright spot was we didn’t play all our starters the whole game, but MLF clock management at the end of the game cost us the game but it shouldn’t have come to that point though. Not going into the post season on a high note, that’s for sure. At least our top receiver didn’t go bragging that nobody could cover him like the Vikings top receiver did and then go on to catch 3 passes for a whopping 54 yards after probably being targeted over a dozen times. The Lions are the team to beat in the NFC. Not sure how you can lose so many players and still put an a** whooping on any other NFL team like they did to the Queens tonight. That Queens/lions game was sure a fun entertaining game to watch from my perspective.
January 6, 2025 at 9:09 am #2308946Just a friendly reminder that if the Packers hadn’t blocked a 46 yard FG vs the Bears they would have gone 0-6 in the Division. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk.
JoePosts: 230Highbeeze24Posts: 130January 6, 2025 at 10:03 am #2308978That was without a doubt, the worst performance of the entire season for GB. The offense, awful. The special teams, worse. The defense, solid. Until it really mattered and you left 25 yards of the middle of the field wide open for the Bears to complete a pass to get into field goal range. ML calling timeout on 4th and 2 and then sending out the kicking unit was ridiculous. If you’re kicking, you bleed the clock down as far as you can. It’s going to be some serious uphill sledding going to Philly. The only loss outside of the division for GB was Philly and they get to go play them next week. The only loss outside of the division for the Vikes, LA. And they get to go play them. Funny how that works sometimes.
January 6, 2025 at 10:38 am #2308998We’ve got to get a little more life out of Jordan Love and the passing attack to pull off the road upset. Jacobs is a beast, but play action passing off of him still has been extremely hit or miss with the offense. Philadelphia is at its best when they are balanced offensively. I’d expect a hefty dose of rested Saquon. Our battered secondary is going to have it’s hands full with AJ Brown too.
Early Prediction:
Eagles 27
Packers 23TlazerPosts: 726January 6, 2025 at 10:47 am #2309003laser does the pack even have a top receiver?
Nope, not since Adams got traded. Got a bunch of #2 and #3’s though. Don’t think the Vikings do either. How many yards did the Jefferson and Addison get yesterday by the way? So how much good did it do to have a supposedly #1 receiver? The Vikings did score 3 FG’s yesterday against a depleted defense. Was a heck of a spanking last night by the Lions.

January 6, 2025 at 12:15 pm #2309033I got a kick out of this. Was listening to the packer show on KFAN sunday morning on the drive to go pheasant hunting. A packers fan calls in and is complaining about the head coach, then he says, “my buddies all call him Matt LaFraud.” That one had me laughing out loud.
