a couple of good corners, upgrade on the line, and wide recover that’s reliable and can stay healthy, all are needs for improvement for next year . it will be interesting how many coaches and plyer jump ship form lions and the queens after the season is done.

Did you guys forget to tell love he’s elite? He didn’t break 70 yards passing until garbage time. If laflower was smart he’d let Jacob’s carry the ball 30x instead of asking love to throw incompletions. Maybe you guys can bring that up in the next owner’s meeting.

Exactly! Swept by 2 division foes, so maybe now more “owners” will realize they aren’t that good and Love has way more questions than answers as the year goes on. No idea why they got away from Jacob’s, he was ripping off 5+ yard runs and then MLF started having hissy fits and trying to play catch up WAY too early. The Pack got throttled and only made it close late due to missed FG’s and prevent defense. They got exposed offensively tonight, shut down Jacob’s and there’s plenty of opportunity to be had against that defense. Love/MLF can’t beat anyone through the air.

Also since it’s been mentioned and I’m sure will be again. Yes the Packers are the youngest team at 25 years and 7 months. And the oldest team is the Bills at 27 years and 5 months. So less than 2 years separate the entire league, which makes that a meaningless stat.

The Packers should be sincerely thanking the Vikings. Allowing the score to be respectful.

    That was a whitewashing.

Not a packer fan but they are young.

5 losses are to Lions (2), Vikings (2), and Eagles.

    Head coach can coach.

So like lost to the good teams?

Pack got beat, gotta take our lumps and move on. That said there was no garbage time in this game. The D came up with a turnover and some key stops, forcing field goal attempts and punts. If anyone is saying the Vikings offense had stopped trying at that stage you’re just stupid. GB mounted a solid comeback but it was too little, too late. Not enough to overcome poor play early on.

I have defended MLF a lot this season but I am starting to question some of his decision making. I think he’s got a great scheme but his ability to stack good decisions within that scheme was awful today. Other decisions have me scratching my head as well — not deferring when winning the toss, when to go on 4th down, when to throw the challenge flag, and the general lack of flow in his play calling at certain times this season have all been concerning.

All that said… looking forward to having an opportunity to shut the Vikings fans up in the playoffs, but until then, enjoy the W fellas.

Dirtywater is an intelligent Packer fan. Just because my squad beat his squad this time doesn’t guarantee anything at playoff time. Moss mooning the Packers in Lambert and taking their lunch money after the Pack beat us both times in the regular season gives testimony to that. The Packers were a bit banged up this meeting. I have little doubt that the Vikings are the better team, except maybe on Special Teams. They screw up way too often, and this was among their worst performances yet. Love can be a very good and dangerous QB at times. He is difficult to sack, streaky, and when he is hot, look out. I never bad-mouth a good QB because that is a hard job to be good at, and I’ve watched enough of Love for him to earn my respect. I think if we meet in the playoffs, the Packers will dig deeper for the win. Unfortunately for them, I think the Vikings can kick up their intensity a notch or two higher as well.

I would think the Packers would rather be the 6 seed over the 7 seed. 7 seed means you go to the Eagles in round 1. 6 seed likely means a trip to the Rams.

Beat the hapless Bears in week 18

At this point I don’t care who they play. They have a lot to prove and they’re gonna have to go thru Philly, vikes, or lions to do it. Beating a mediocre team like the rams in round one won’t mean much to me, they’ve been doing that all season. I want to see this team step up and beat one of the 3 top teams.

Bears will be playing like it’s their Super Bowl next week as well. Kinda like the lions when they beat GB in rodgers final game at lambeau. They’re a mess but I don’t expect a cakewalk.

True. But if I remember correctly, when they beat the Rams back in October, LA was in the midst of the injury bug. They started the season 1-4, and they are now 10-6. I’d say they are a little better than mediocre now.

I wouldn’t put the Rams in the same conversation as those other three top teams in the NFC but its going to be a much different game than it was back in October.

I would not want to play the Rams rather play Philly right now. Rams are just getting stronger.

As a Vikings fan for some 50 years now I can tell you that I do not hate the Packers – they were irrelevant in the 70’s when I was in my formative years.

It is Packer fans that I find abrasive (think nails on a chalkboard or tinfoil on the teeth).

The team I hate will all my heart is Dallas. Still remember Musberger and George hyping F’n America’s team in the 70s. Couple that with the biggest fool in NFL history (Mike Lynn) setting up the Cowboys for their 1990’s dynasty run … Ugh.

I like Tucker Kraft as a player, but that cheap shot on Patrick Jones should be illegal and I hope he gets fined for it. They need to make that illegal this offseason as well. Chop blocks on guys both in the trenches are risky enough (and can’t really be removed), but a 30 yard motion head start is just bs. Again not illegal, definitely cheap, and should be made illegal soon.

Brittman and James Almquist, you guys aren’t old enough. You need to go back to the 30s and 40s when the acme packers won 10 world championships wearing leather helmets playing in a cow pasture outside Milwaukee.

This team found a way to kick itself in the a** all game long yesterday with penalties on offense. I believe it was five first down plays called back on penalties. That will destroy a team no matter where you are playing. The second offensive possession for the Packers was three straight passes after Jacobs was having his way with things before fumbling on the first drive. The go for it on 4th and 2 was a headscratcher. Reed should have caught that ball but Love has a hard time putting touch on a ball when he has pressure closing in. He’s got that gunslinger in him. 7-6 at that point in the game would have felt pretty good. ML saying after the game the Vikings played a lot more man than we expected was a headscratcher. That says your receivers didn’t have the talent to create separation. Meanwhile, the biggest issue for the GB defense all year has been the middle of the field and it reared its ugly head again yesterday. Darnold had his way with anything between the hashmarks. This team can catch fire at any time, but the self inflicted wounds this late in the season are unacceptable. The fact that they find themselves in position to win in all of these five loses is something to see. They certainly have some fight in them and they are going to need it if they can make any noise moving forward.

and on this side of the boarder we find the queens fans more than obnoxious, the come over to they’re lake home and expect the locals to pucker up and kiss they’re ass to begin with, god help us if the queens have a winning season, we would be happy if they keep their BS on their side of the river,

I spend a month every winter down in Texas. I’m also a Minnesotan that doesn’t really care about the Vikings or the Packers. I’ve seen both sets of fans at their worst and I’d have to say that all the Packer and Viking fans combined can’t match a hand full of Cowboy fans when it comes to being obnoxious.

Per espn, the most likely opponent is the Eagles in the wild card round because Washington has the tie breaker.

The other possible opponent are the Rams in LA. That would require the Packers to beat Chicago and Washington to lose to Dallas.

There is also a very small scenario in which they could play at Tampa, but that is very unlikely.

Thought that little interaction between Aaron jones, Matt La(blossoming)fleur and KOC was pretty cool, pre-game.

P.s.: does the flower practice his tantrums during the week to prepare for games? Oooof, secondhand embarrassment.
