Jared Goff is not going to retire anytime soon. He’s 30.

Also, they won the division last year, and 2 playoff games.

Their current “run” began the second half of 2022 when they finished the season 9-8 after starting 1-6. In week 18 of that season, they played at Green Bay and seemingly had nothing to play for other than to keep the Packers out of the playoffs. They prevailed at Lambeau, earning a 20-16 victory.

you are right.as long as Green Bay has a poor and injury prone DB’s they won’t amount to anything.

Heard Dave Sinikyn (sp?) and Brett Blakemore (both Packers fans) talking about this on KFAN. All time ridiculous take, where’s TLazer? That you?

LilWerm. See you missed me. Sorry I have a life unlike you and don’t spend my entire life on here like you. No clue what you mean by your useless post. I see you spend a lot of time on the Pack posts, probably because the Viking post don’t have any intelligent posts. You never answered, did you see all those SB trophies shown on the Thanksgiving game won by the Pack? I know the Vikings have nothing even close to those, and never will.

Theres a guy that won more SB trophy’s by himself than your 3 HOF qb’s combined. Plus you don’t have to blow the dust off of them, they are pretty recent. But go ahead and tell us how great your team is, just understand i’m not the only one laughing.

As a completely unbiased spectator with absolutely no care about either team, I officially declare the Packers living rent free in the Viking fans head. Calling it like I see it.

This is all hilarious – I was listening to Sinikyn (somewhat passively) when they were discussing this, as well. But I believe both he and Blakemore thought it was a ridiculous argument and kind of ripped the fellow packer fan who had this take. How many times have we seen a QB go back on a 7-step drop and trip only to get back up and make a play. Same concept here. If he’s not willingly giving himself up, he has to be touched-down.

Agreed, the fact enough GB fans were saying a QB kneel down was what Goff was doing, that Sinikyn and BB brought it up on KFAN was my point. As TLazer is proving Carl Gerbschmidt isn’t a bit, and they are nothing if not consistent, like a broken record. jester

Isn’t that the truth. Vikings been in the NFL over 60 years and have squat to show for it, but somehow want to try and downplay the Packers SB wins. You can feel their pain though when talking about the Packer HOF QB’s, when they can never draft and develop a QB of their own in the past 30 years. Ponder, Bridgewater, Culpepper all in the first round, and now McCarthy. Looking at the NFL law of averages of 1st round QB’s being drafted that actually make it, McCarthy doesn’t have a very good chance at making it. Especially when you factor in how well the rest of the 2024 QB draft class is looking so far, but it is too early to really tell. They are so jealous of the Packers success and that is why they have to troll on the Packer posts since the Vikings haven’t achieved anything.

Green Bay has opened as 2.5 road faovorites at Seattle next Sunday night. The Packers, sitting at 9-4, are almsot assured the NFC’s 6 seed. They are 2 games back of the Vikings (and lose the tie breaker) for the 5 seed and 2 games ahead of the Commanders, with only 4 games remaining.

This could very well be a first round playoff preview. Seattle has the lead in the NFC West and will most likely finish as the 3 seed, which hosts the 6 seed in the wild card round.

Wow, I just seen the video. I guess it doesn’t surprise me, little Matty is a cry-baby coach who thinks he’s a tough guy. He can’t make it through one game without a temper-tantrum. mad

See DeVondre Campbell made the news again. Sounds like last season wasn’t a fluke. Embarrassing for how much these guys get to play the game and then quit on the team. Campbell surely has some issues and now will probably be out of football. What team would take a chance on a roster spot for him.

San Francisco 49ers linebacker De’Vondre Campbell refused to enter the game when Kyle Shanahan attempted to put him in on Thursday night, Shanahan said. Campbell instead went to the locker room.

The incident happened in the third quarter. Linebacker Dre Greenlaw went down, and Shanahan attempted to put in Campbell to replace him, but the veteran refused. “He said he didn’t want to play today,” Shanahan said.

Couple years in Green Bay will make a guy want to quit, I can understand that. Well that and the $40 million he made in his career.

He’ll go down as the one season wonder who quit on himself. Last year it was I’m not playing through injuries anymore. Yesterday it was I don’t want to play in the rain. Such a shame.

You mean like real superstars like JJ and TJ Watt were at Wisconsin? How are the Vikings gonna fix him, you haven’t won anything yet in you whole NFL franchise history, and that’s not gonna change anytime soon. LOL. moon

Those guys were made stars in Houston and Pittsburgh bud. And we will just keep winning the division, try and catch up! 21 to 17 right now.

Now with Werm talking about the past again, lets post a stat that really matters with Championships Won.

    Packers 13
    Vikings 0

Winning the Division is like getting a participation ribbon. Chirp all you want but in all Sports all you want to do is “win the whole F**King thing” – Jake Taylor

Now back to the current season and looks like Jaire is not going to be playing again this weekend. I swear he is starting to be a waste of money with him always being hurt.

I love when this stat comes out. Let’s go back to 1930 when there were 11 teams and it was the equivalent of winning a bush league title.

As a Packer fan I actually hate it too but you can say that about almost any time frame because each decade the league changes.

But if you would like a more recent time frame lets go back the past 30 years.

    Superbowl Appearances

    Packers 3
    Vikings 0

    Superbowl Wins
    Packers 2
    Vikings 0

Is that better? Now lets go back to talking about this year. I like the Vikings being relevant this year because it makes this banter that much better.
