Bears home stretch is brutal, 6 division games, with the 49ers and Seahawks mixed in. They need this one at home.

This could be the Bears last gasp before the wheels officially fall off. There’s talent there and I feel like the defense could force plenty of turnovers if the offense could ever stay ON the field long enough to give them a rest.

I think it’s ugly, but the Packers win. 24-20.

If you’re a Bears fan, you have to be excited you’re not the Cowboys, LOL. The Cowboys are a real poop show right now, and I couldn’t be happier.

The Cowboys situation is brutal, mainly because just plugging in a different coach isn’t going to be an actual solution…but you can guarantee ole’ Jerry will use that as his “change” versus looking in the mirror

It’s very possible they don’t win another game.

I don’t think the packers will fall into the trap this week, the bears best chance at a victory will probably be Minnesota

They play the Seahawks at home. That’s technically their easiest game remaining on the schedule.

They have 2 against the Lions, 2 against the Vikings, 2 against the Packers, and the 49ers.

Like I previously stated, they may not win another game, and finish 4-13.

If I had to bet money on the bears winning one game, it’s against the packers. Matt Laflur will run on the field, jump like a baby, and lose the game with a 15yd unsportsmanlike penalty. The reason? No one changed his pampers before the game.

Unreal. Blocked FG as time expires. Reminiscent of the KC win over Denver last week.

    Winning ugly is still winning?

I like their chances to make the playoffs but they just have a lot of weaknesses. Cornerback position after Jaire is a mess and he can’t stay on the field. Nixon was paid and retained for his kick return abilities which have been neutralized by the new rules. Stokes and valentine are both hit/miss.

Van ness wasn’t mentioned today except for a neutral zone infraction.

That INT love threw early was terrible.

Twice they had 1st and goal today and got zero points.

MLF had a challenge on a play that really wasn’t even close.

BUT. Finish 4-3 and they’ll have a chance.

Saw Favre doing an interview on TV this past week, and he didn’t look good. Favre was having a hard time getting his thoughts out and you could see his hands shaking. Love him or hate him, it’s hard to see that happen to anybody. Can’t say for sure the concussions were to blame, but Tua might want to go and see Favre and then determine if he wants to continue playing football.

I just saw that. Packers caught a big break playing against SF without those two. Brandon Allen is expected to start at QB, with Josh Dobbs backing him up.

The 49ers defense couldn’t stop the Packers. Not sure having Purdy would have changed the outcome.

Looks like the Packers GM made a smart move in signing Jacobs instead of resigning Jones. Plus the Packers GM didn’t give up a kings ransom like the Vikings GM did for Turner, who had all of 1 tackle today and can’t get on the field.

I did not realize at first that the Pack play again on Thanksgiving, not on Sunday. I think being in the final game of the night on Thanksgiving significantly ups a visiting southern teams motivation to give it their best effort. Every player on every team wants to be able to say they won a game on Thanksgiving. That motivation wouldn’t be there on a cold Sunday in Lambert.

Also, Da Bears, who I hadn’t been paying much attention to, impressed me with their fight this week. Detroit better be ready this week or it could be a repeat for them of last year when they got upset at home. I’m really looking forward to Thursday.

9ers have been overrated from the start of the season. People love to overpraise a famous name. Dallas Turners tackle saved a touchdown, so there is that. The packers also got some help from their MVP, the refs, when they called back debo’s kick return into the redzone on an iffy at best holding penalty. Either way, the packers will not win out the rest of their season. Let’s see how they do against the kitties high power offense on turkey day. Jordan love hit a milestone, he finished his first game of the year without tossing one right into the chest of an opposing player.

Packers play Miami, Lions play the Bears this Thursday. As far as I know Miami is healthy and playing well right now and will have double huge motivation to perform well, being a Primetime Game and being a Thanksgiving Day Game. Winning on Thanksgiving is a legacy-level achievement.

They don’t play the kitties. The Bears do.

Green Bay hosts Miami on Thursday night.

It was refreshing to see the defense get back to forcing turnovers and the run game being very efficient. 55 games since SF had a RB go for over 100 against them. To put up three TD’s to go with it was very impressive. Watson dropping that ball for a walk in TD before the half was gut wrenching, especially coming off of his career high in yards the week prior. They need to find a way to get the pass game going. The final score was mostly due to the defense dominating. Jordan Love is putting together a pretty decent season but you can see he is being utilized much more as a game manager and leaning on the run game to carry the offense. It seems Lafleur is doing his best to save him from himself at times. What I found best yesterday was knowing last week it was the Viking fans cursing out Chicago for allowing their game winning kick to be blocked, and this week it was the Packers fans cursing out Chicago for winning the toss after forcing OT only to completely collapse. That’s the game.

This packers fan agrees, I cringe when I read tlazer’s posts, almost as much as I do when I read bass pundit’s armchair psychoanalysis of which teams will actually be motivated to play to win each week. I have learned so much about psychology from that guy!

Another nice win for the pack. They seem to be getting better each week. I guess we will find out who they really are when they play The lions on Dec. 5th and Minnesota on Dec. 29th. They play in the toughest division that’s for sure. I do like that they seem to beat the teams they should and don’t seem to play down to the lesser teams like another local team. Then again they are 9-2. How they got there doesnt matter

Jacobs has ran for 944 yards and 7TDs. He’s on-pace for 1450 yards and 11TDs. The move looks pretty good for the Packers so far. He’s been a constant pro bowl level performer despite some of the team’s other ups and downs.

It will be interesting to see if Love can “heat up” a bit down the stretch. He hasn’t been terrible, but he hasn’t really been nailing downfield shots either. Jacobs can run the ball and the defense has been opportunistic, but to really accelerate into the playoffs and make a run…they’re going to have to stretch some of the best defenses in football vertically and make them pay when they get into single high looks.

Overall, 8-3 with the youngest roster in the NFL is hard to complain too much about thus far. There’s a lot of season left and the NFC North should continue to be competetive top to bottom
