Another great win by the Pack toast

Hard to win with that turnover ratio, but they managed to get it done!!

75% of this Packer win goes to the defense. Basically giving the Texans 16 points from TO’s. Defense played very well.

Well someone basically said that the Packers only win when their opponent plays like crap.

    It’s a long season.

I have not seen the Pack game this week, but looking at the numbers it looks like it was a closely fought contest by two very good teams and the Pack came out on top. Just because teams tend to underperform at Lambert doesn’t mean it happens every game.

I just watched the highlight tape. Going by that I would say that the Pack actually was the team that wasn’t very sharp on Offense, but managed to come out with the victory just as well. If the Vikes would have beaten the Lions today, I’d say the same thing about them. A mark of a good team is being able to find a way to win when the Offense struggles.

Stroud 10/21 for 86 yards in a big game shock

I’m not ready to crown him as anything other than an athletic young QB with a great coach and some nice weapons.

In this weeks episode of the Packers trying to beat the Packers, the Packers came out victorious. In all seriousness, great defensive performance. Jordan Love is Brett Favre 2.0 but I can live with some of those high risk plays on occasion. There were plenty of times with Rodgers where you would wish he’d take a shot but he’d be unwilling to let it fly. The run game continues to be solid. A kicker made a long field goal to win the game, something that wouldn’t have happened when 44 was on the roster. The reality is this team was going through these same growing pains last year and wound up one point at 2-6. To be at 5-2 with the same issues, assuming they can start to play cleaner football, they have all of the potential in the world to make a run at it. What a division we have this season.

Best Division in football right now and just 2 years ago most people thought no team from our Division should be in the playoffs. Who would a guessed?

Fun game! Thankful the gm had the guts to make the change at kicker because I don’t see Brayden making that one to win the game.

We pay bisaccia way too much money to have guys fielding punts at the 1 and letting kicks bounce that they should be catching.

Youngest team in the NFL, they’re going to get better every week. Packers will be on top of division at the end of the year.

Great win for the Packers. I was cheering for the Texans only because the Vikings could have really used a packer loss. The packers are playing a lot like KC. Not playing real good football but finding ways to win games.

Packers have a trap game this week. They are probably feeling pretty good about themselves having dispatched the Texans; Being so young they may have a tendency to look forward past the Jags to Lions, Bears, and 9ers. Thinking they are hot stuff that can just show up in FL and get an easy W may work against them. It will be interesting to see if they don’t let that happen and just beat the crap out of the Jags.

Sure on paper this looks like a trap game but I also think the Packers know they got very lucky with the Texans and their dumb mistakes they had. I bet the coaches hit at them hard this week.

But they will be watching a lot of stuff the Jags put on tape that is just poor football. If they come to the conclusion on their own these guys stink; That can create the overconfidence problems.

The thing is that the jaguars do actually stink. Badly.

The packers should’ve won by 3 scores on Sunday and they know their own dumb mistakes on offense and special teams prevented that. I expect a hungry team and a dominant performance to gain momentum as they enter a more challenging stretch of the schedule.

And that right there is the problem. What happens if the Jags have a really good game plan and execution? Does the young Packer team get frustrated and start making mistakes that snowball? They should dominate the Jags, but the Jags get a say and they are playing at home. A Packers win isn’t a given. The Packers have a lot to prove yet. Last year’s late success doesn’t mean squat.

If you think they don’t realize they have a lot to prove you’re kidding yourself. Every NFL team knows anything can happen any week. That doesn’t make it likely. I get a huge kick out of fans saying “this is a trap game” as if they have some kinda wisdom or perspective that has eluded the players and coaches. Fans ain’t that smart and the teams ain’t that dumb. If they lose it will be because they made mistakes and got outplayed, not because they didn’t take the other team seriously enough.

Ruling out the psychological aspect of sport as if it is nothing isn’t a good take. Saying all the right things is one thing. Being able to do them when under stress is another. The trap game phenomenon is real and if the Packers lose, it has to be the #1 suspect as to why it happened.

Agreed, but the trap game is suspect #2 to turnovers.

I just see no evidence that this is a team that’s susceptible to playing down to the competition and losing games to clearly inferior opponents. Psychology, sure. But you’re oversimplifying psychology by boiling it down to overconfidence. It works both ways. A good coach— and they have one— knows how to create a chip on a team’s shoulder and manufacture motivation even when they’re heavily favored. They’re young and haven’t won anything. In my opinion they’ll stay hungry and win on the road by 14+ points

I’ll never forget lefloooor jumping like a little baby on the field and getting flagged for 15 yard unsportsmanlike. Not my definition of a good coach.

Why bother with the stupid Vikings comparison. You’re just taking the bait.

I judge coaches by wins and MLF is in the top few active coaches by winning percentage. Wins don’t lie and bad coaches don’t win. You can define a good coach by whatever other creative standard you choose but winning is the only thing that actually matters.

They might win by 14+ or they may fall into the trap and walk out losers. We’ll know on Sunday.

They also might tie. Would a tie mean they fell into the pretend trap as well?

Look at La flowers post season record. Winning is the only thing that actually matters. He’s actually not very good at it come playoff time.

Like I said they haven’t won anything that matters. They haven’t been good enough to beat the best of the best. MLF is a good coach, he’s not the best. 4 playoff losses in 5 seasons, all to either Kyle Shanahan (a better coach) or Tom Brady (the best qb in the history of the game).

    Next tired trolling tactic?

Refusing to acknowledge the obvious truth just makes you look silly. I’m secure enough in my own fandom to say that KOC and Flores are good coaches. It’s not that difficult to not be a troll.

That’s hilarious, KOC is a good coach!!! How many playoff games has he coached in, and what is his record in the playoffs? If I’m not mistaken his only playoff team was in the 2022 season, and his 13-4 team got throttled by a 9-7 Giants team. jester

Looks like Jordan Love may have re-injured his knee. Malik Willis has entered the game at QB.
