Offense
September 28, 2024 at 7:50 am #2291121Going to be a great game. I personally hope Love gets the start. Him at less than 100% is a + over a mobile QB who can hurt you with his feet anyday. I think if Darnold can keep from making any dumb mistakes and the Def. Is as good as they have looked, the Vikings win this one. GB’s Def. Is underrated. They are a better than average def. This one is probably more important to the packers than the Vikings being it’s at home. Even with a loss the Vikings can even it out with a win on their home field later. Let the better team win. I just hope that the Vikings are the better team
September 28, 2024 at 10:10 am #2291143If Malik Willis plays the Vikings win by 10+, if Love is healthy and plays It’s a pick ‘em but I like the Vikes defense a little more.
Don’t forget New Orleans stole that SB from Favre and the Vikes. Payton and Gregg Williams should have been banned from the league.

OMG!!! Talk about looking through purple colored glasses. Did NO steal points from Minn and that’s why Minn lost? Last time I checked the team with the most points at the end of the game is the winner. Then you have to factor in that NO is in the NFC, so they were playing to go to the SB, not playing the SB. Next is how do you know Minn would have beaten Indy and wouldn’t have choked like they did in the other SB’s they played in.
September 28, 2024 at 5:42 pm #2291184Reports indicate that Jordan Love will be playing tomorrow, albeit wearing a protective brace on his knee.
The Packers did not activate practice squad QB Sean Clifford, which they did the past two weeks to back up Malik Willis.
BrittmanPosts: 2010September 29, 2024 at 7:32 am #2291219Well – I do not remember any team that beat Green Bay in the NFC Championship game (quite a few with Rogers) having their head coach (Payton) kicked out of the league for a year and the DC suspended indefinitely because of a bounty gate type scenario … Saints also had a $500K fine and loss of draft picks …
NO kept their SB championship. City was still reeling from the lasting impacts of Katrina … so NFL was not about to go there.
Favre would not have played the 4th quarter under the new blue tent rules.
Maybe Favre has a legitimate lawsuit against the Saints ?
September 29, 2024 at 11:26 am #2291239Bounty gate was not the reason they lost that game. Three turnovers was. Two by Favre and another by Peterson.
September 29, 2024 at 12:35 pm #2291245I don’t have any cell phone reception here cause somebody tell me what the score of the game is

September 29, 2024 at 12:49 pm #2291250I just heard some more cheering. Anybody know the score? Did Green Bay just touchdown or something?
September 29, 2024 at 1:01 pm #2291258Where are they going lol.
Going to have kicker tryouts tomorrow
B-manPosts: 5928September 29, 2024 at 1:12 pm #2291260It’s a long season…but this is embarrassing
They should bench/rest Love, wave the white flag, sign a new kicker, and look forward to next week.
Love is throwing at 75% strength, and the defense doesn’t have an answer for the Vikes offense.
There’s no coming back from this one, and nothing good is going to come from it. They might tighten the game up, but a WIN is more than a stretch.

The Pack got a first down. The crowd went wild. Well, there were some murmurs of general appreciation anyway.
B-manPosts: 5928September 29, 2024 at 3:35 pm #2291279The Pack definitely kept it interesting. As predicted they tightened the game, yet nothing good came from it. Losing by 2 or losing by 28 is still an L.
Watson and Wyatt got hurt.
If Brayden Narveson could kick they would have won the game.
The plus side, they didn’t lose even more starters for next week…
September 29, 2024 at 3:35 pm #2291280I have to say that win or lose watching a game at Lambeau was a fantastic experience.
I love you Packer fans and now i get it.

they shouldn’t have because that wasn’t an interception at the one. Bad call. Ball touched the ground and he was out.
B-manPosts: 5928September 29, 2024 at 3:45 pm #2291285Captainmusky, I kind of agree, but the 4(?) other times they turned the ball over didn’t help.
They played a sloppy and $hitty game, and earned the loss
The worst part, they let the Vikings win “Their [vikings] Superbowl” for the year lol
September 29, 2024 at 3:47 pm #2291286That specific INT didn’t affect the outcome of the game much because the Packers punted 3 plays later from their own 6 yd line.
I do agree that it was the incorrect call though. It just didn’t matter much because of the series that occurred immediately after.
Jimmy JonesPosts: 2892September 29, 2024 at 3:58 pm #2291288I thought the Pack’s came out after half time being adjusted to MN’s offense. Mn’s offense AND defense seemed to play the second half like they did in the first half. The Pack made adjustments that put points on the board. And all of those wasted plays by running up the middle where most of GB’s defense was, in my mind, dumb. I’m not a pack fan but there a lot of things about the Vikings that make me want to cheer for someone else. If MN has lost, it was only because stupid play calls and penalties let the Pack run up 21-22 points in a half hour. Had they lost they would have deserved it.
dirtywaterPosts: 1627September 29, 2024 at 4:05 pm #2291291At least it was entertaining the second half.
Love was about what I expected today coming off 2 weeks down. Not mobile. Not very accurate at times. Made some huge throws when needed. Made some really poor decisions.
Our offensive line, penalties, and kicking game were all awful. Defense got dominated in the first quarter but bounced back.
Congrats on the 4-0 start Vikings fans. Packers have their work cut out for them from here!

i’ll disagree Gim….. the Vikes coulda put points on the board!!!!!!
BeastPosts: 1135September 29, 2024 at 4:33 pm #2291295my thoughts, Love was very poor the first half, he didn’t step into his throws, too worried about his knee, defensive coordinator didn’t dial up any pressures, when you’re down by that many points, what do you have to loose?, Watson and the kicker both can go away, neither are helping the team. Nixson too slow to be a corner, pregame injuries played a part to this loss. too many dumb penalties at critical times, I hate the kick off rule, hate the onside kick rule, all and all the Packers were out played.

I love you Packer fans and now i get it.This is a FACT, EPG,
I don’t think I’ve ever had so much fun at a game as I did at Lambeau last year and I’ve been to a bunch. Everyone had a great time together and ZERO negative fan interactions. It’s an experience and rivalry to be cherished, for sure! Glad you got to experience it.RipjiggenPosts: 11789
