I am just wonder how does everyone glow there ice fishing jigs. Is there a rule for how long to glow the jig so that it glows longer under that ice. Is there any special devices that you use to do so.

Use Mag Light Or Also The Flash Parts Off Of An Old Camera.

Anyone use a UV flashlight? I thought I read somewhere that is the fastest way to flow them.

Go to Walmart and buy a cheap flash attachment.

Your plastics and jigs will charge better and faster if they are kept warm…as in body temperature warm. Try putting the plastic packages inside a shirt pocket along with a small zip lock holding a few of your pet jigs.

The uv lights get them the brightest-fastest in my experiences. Rapala has a lanyard glow box that works really well. Put the jig or spoon in the box, push the button and it glows both sides. CJ&S has or had a key chain one. If you get that one, make sure you choose the uv bulb over the other options. Never messed with the camera flash, so I can’t say anything good or bad for that option.
