What is everyone’s preference on gloves to use. (Just starting out and want some opinions)

I prefer natural fibers, they work better for me than fleece and neoprene.

I like the bison wool products from the buffalo wool company. I wear the fingerless gloves when it’s above 10, below that I put the mittens on instead.

They make two grades, the pure bison are amazing, pricy, but amazing. They also last forever so they are a good long term investment.

Fingerless rag-wool. Warm. Cheap. 100% dexterity. In my opinion, can’t ask for much more.

Memphis N9690FC Ninja Ice Fully Coated HPT Gloves – 15 Gauge Nylon Shell

these are the ones i have switched to. they are low profile so you can wear them while opening/closing bale putting on a new minnow, etc. but they aren’t too big that you catch them on your reel while reeling, pulling out line, etc. because they’re coated down to your wrist you can put your hand in water to clear ice or whatever and stay completely dry. pretty warm too and cheap

I just stocked up today on $1 fleece gloves at the Dollar Store. They’re plenty warm for most days, and I cut off a couple of glove finger ends for added dexterity on the ice. I always have a couple of pairs on me in case they get wet.
