Iowaboy I appreciate you questioning things, that is an attribute everyone should have. Also, you are entitiled to you’re own opinion, but not you’re own facts. Science has proven global warming, and evolution.

As for the OP, maybe warmer waters will lead to bigger walleye’s! And if Kaepernick know’s of a good walleye bite, I might start listening to what he has to say!

The entire problem is guys/gals drinking too much and urinating in the water, that’s what is raising the water temp!!

The latest theory is raising levels are do to expansion as the oceans warm. When anything warms it expands, contracts as it cools.

With the exception of water. Water expands as the temperature drifts away from 32F, in either direction. Which is why ice floats.

I think that the earth is warming but I don’t know what all the causes are. I do believe that this is having an effect on the perch and walleye populations. However there are lots of factors that effect the populations of both fish species. As it relates to largemouth bass, they can take over a lake very quickly especially if they become the primary predatory species. I will say that there are some instances of lakes recovering with respect to walleye population so its not all doom and gloom. See Red Lake and Lake Erie that was basically biologically dead in the 80s. Now the walleye populations are awesome.
