I had a couple of these. Turns out they don’t wear out. I have a brand new one in the attic. Send me a PM if you’re interested.

I just purchased one online a few weeks ago. Just starting the process of doing a few modifications to it. I’m looking forward to see how it turns out and how it works out on the ice this season. It should be able to haul my Rods, Flasher, K-drill, Fish bucket, and possibly a buddy heater once I get it all set up.

I’d love to see a pic of that! They look like a great idea but my first concern was fitting all the stuff I need to haul in it. An otter sled with sides has been working so far but it doesn’t slide very easy.

Hayden – Strike Master sells them for $89 on their website.

The Flasher should fit inside just fine. I’m thinking I can mount the Buddy heater in the front up against the auger support pole. The hinged cover for the small storage area is a great idea as well. May put a hinged cover on the large opening as well. Lots of mod picture out on the web. I really liked the rod tube design that Craig came up with. Keeps those costly rods nice and safe in a solid tube. I may also look at adding some small ski’s to the bottom to make it more stable and balance out the weight some.

You could just start off with a tote if you add skies and all those mods. It does look cool. Make sure to post a picture of the finish product. I would also add some Velcro to the rod holder so nothing slide out when you go up a hill.

Good idea on the Velcro – I was thinking some type of a bungie or band but Velcro may be a better option.
