Looking for IDO feedback regarding whether or not there is potential buyers for glassware like the attached pics. Why? An acquaintance does this with their dremel as a relaxing pastime. Perhaps local small town SE MN weekend festivals could bring in a few extra bucks. Like most adventures it’ll come down to is the outcome worth the effort.

    Appreciate your time and feedback.

Apologize for the low quality pics as I couldn’t scrounge up better background or lighting.

I’d imagine LED’s, paint & backing could make these even more eye catching.

Those are pretty cool. There isn’t a huge bass crew here but in the right groups or settings I think he could sell some of those. Maybe throw a post up with his info and these pics over on BassBoatCentral’s forums. That’s where the hardcore bass guys and girls are.

Lots of stuff like this for sale on Etsy. Have him list a few and see how they sell. There is probably similar stuff for sale to give him a price point.

Can’t help you much on some of the specifics you asked but Kurt those are very cool. I looked at the pictures last night on my phone but now that I’m on a desktop and can see the detail and the northwoods look in that first one they really look top-notch. I’d recommend doing what Frederick said, keep doing them at his leisure and get the pictures circulating. We’ve lived at our place a few years now and seems like we’re just getting started getting things where we want them, but some day I could see us with something like that in our outdoor-themed TV-watching area.

This person has almost zero interest in dealing with retail. They came into a nice quantity of glass years back and instead of placing them in the local landfill they stored them away. Fast forward to todays world of neat dremel bits combined with a hidden talent and BOOM!

Biggest risk I see? They can’t keep up with demand and todays social media mob quickly ends this possible supplemental income op.

Have a couple other pieces I need to clean up & display. Sick, sick walleye with MN Wild logo inside and a neat G-Loomis like fish skeleton.

I’m not sure how to put a price on something like that, especially because I am not artistic my self, I don’t really buy artsy stuff. But I really like stuff like this as well as wood carvings and metal cut stuff.

I would be interested in that one. Let me know what they want and if you can post or pm me a pic that would be great.

Yeah wild MN wild logo sounds sweet. I’d be interested in that possibly.
Pretty sure on Etsy you can just sell one off items to test the waters.

I would have no idea what they would go for? How long does it take to do one?

That stuff is pretty cool. He just has to be careful selling stuff with team logos on it.
