My wife said she was getting tired of camping in the confines of the cabover so we started looking at 5th wheels. There was a recent RV show in our area and picked this up for our new glamping cabin.

You’re going to love it. My parents recently retired and decided they wanted to travel. They traded in their small camper and pickup up a Tiffin motorhome and have been living it in for the past year. They absolutely love it and wouldn’t trade it for anything. Congrats on the new addition.

Are you planning on pulling your boat behind it? Not sure of the length restrictions in Utah, but I’m guessing they’re quite lax.

The initial plan is to get a seasonal site at the lake and leave the trailer there for the summer. I think we could also leave the boat there or just haul it back and forth. In the Winter, maybe haul the trailer to a warm climate like Arizona and have our Winter cabin at some place like Powell or Mead.

The new term for glamorous camping. Long past are the days of sleeping on the ground in a tent. Lol!

Those new trailers are finished nicer and are larger than the houses many of us have lived in over the years. If I was in the market for one, I’ve always thought how in the heck I’d decide on which make and model to go with. There are so many companies with so many different layouts and options that it’s overwhelming.

    Enjoy.

Queenswake, after you narrow down the ones you really like, price and dealer attitudes help push you in one direction or another. Kind of like buying a new boat.

So have you decided whether or not that you will triple it up? What is the total length if you do? If you do will it exclude you from some states to pull in?
