Spring sure is having a tough time making up its mind. Water Temps are in the upper 40s and we are seeing fish at all stages of the spawn. I think the great post spawn bite is still a few weeks away. fish are biting ok from shore on a few popular haunts with a jig and minnow as well as guys working main lake points are finding more smaller eater type fish. Fish have been scattered throughout smaller warm water bays as of late as they go through the spawn. Perch colored paddle tails as well as well as Mooneye jigs in silver have been a popular early season offering. Look for fishing to improve with the weather. -QB
