gift ideas for the old man

need some gift ideas for my father for christmas, not much of a fisherman but the guy loves his bourbon.

I go to Morey’s and Von Hanson’s. Pick him up a couple rib eyes and lobster tails. Through in some twice-baked potatoes and stop at the liquor store. Good to go.

The bourbon and whiskey thread at the bottom of the page should give you a multitude of good bottles to shop for.

There are a few local craftsman that make custom signs. You could get him a personalized sign for his bourbon drinking location of choice?

Make him a Rusty Nail Kit-Old school somewhat forgotten drink-Drambuey too sweet, bourban too not sweet, the RN has great balance, some nice glasses, hazelnuts, good stuff, I like to order it and see the puzzled look on the bartenders face.

I used to be that bartender but it was usually a Tom Collins…..

A meat bundle from Hy Vee is something similar and a great idea.
