Getting Ready For Season 2

Last year was my first ice season with a hovercraft custom made. I think I am finally getting this girl dialed in…
Completely built custom trailer…Was a boat trailer non tilt and now has a tilt bed along with a new deck…
Just got my hc back from a guy outside of Lancaster who put on a new skirt and redesigned skids…
Once this river settles down I plan to take her for a spin and be totally ready for the upcoming ice season! !

I might just have to try and come do some Mississippi back water perching with you this season I think that would be such a cool experience and the trailer turned out real nice

Nice looking set up Dave.I wish I had some spare change lying around ,one of those would be sweet.

Dave, how big is that hovercraft?

She is about 14′ long and seats 3 people…

Sweet whip Dave. What’s a typical day of fishing like in that from an operations perspective? How thick is the ice you’re usually fishing on with that? What kind of gear do you have with you? Do you fish lakes and rivers in it? Will it float when you power down? How do you know the ice is safe to power down on? etc. Such a foreign but interesting approach to me (reminds me of the NWA episode from last year)
