The weather looks great this weekend. We made a short trip to Lake of the Woods last weekend and the fishing was fantastic. We stuck to trolling in the basin, but others were jigging or pulling spinners and having luck too. We caught fish near Archie’s reef, north of long Point a few miles, and out from Zippel bay. In the school out from Zippel, we trolled for 2 miles with solid fish on the depthfinder the entire time. We had bright conditions so bright baits worked the best. Pink, yellow, and orange flicker shads, taildancers, and Shad raps all caught fish. Good luck!
