    I got the Katoolahs this year too.

    Never bothered with getting spikes before, but late ice last year had a day that the ice was so slick I had to use the auger like an old person uses a walker to get around. I’ve known people that have had SEVERE head injuries from falls on ice, and if it’s a choice between $52 for good spikes or more lures, etc. GET THE SPIKES.

    I haven’t been using any spikes on my boots for a couple of weeks. The snow cover really helps. Still, I have slipped around a bit out there.

    I got these as a gift last year and I will only get these from now on. Worth the money

    They are no doubt the best! You think the 65 dollars for them or 1 fall which could land you in the hospital with a broken hip and out of work… Easy to pay that 70 bucks! Never slip again!
