genz pack question

I just got a new vex with genz pack and I thought the transducer kind of snapped into place in the holder so it stays put. Mine just sits in there, nothing to keep it from bouncing around. Is that the design? It appears I have some mods to do so it stays put while traveling.

Yeah I have never seen one snap in, just a place to rest it

I just bought one for my son. it just rests in place. does not snap in. I have a 18 ultra pak that I have had for 20 years. absolutely bulletproof product regardless of transducer security.

Same here, I have a couple on Pro Packs I would describe it fits in slightly snug but does snap in.

Never had any issues.

I bought a marcum arm and stopper so I could hang mine from it. You can mount it anywhere you want on the genz box.
