gators on the big pond

    Ok, so i cant fish ‘eyes in another week. I’ve never fished for northerns on the Pond. Perhaps i give it a try.
    Im out of Wahkon bay. Any pointers?

    There was a recent episode filmed and posted on here with that very same trip you are speaking of. They trolled with fast moving lures using planer boards.

    Troll big cranks in the bays. Work around weedlines. Adjust speed until you get hits. Inside and outside turns is where I would focus.

    Lots of both BIG and small pike in the pond. I’d work the weededges with a jerkbait or mepp’s spinner. A rattletrap would also be another good bait – You will most likely pickup some Eye’s and SM as well
