I just discovered this new company that Gary Loomis has founded.
The rods look amazing and the consumer direct model makes them very affordable.
I just ordered two spin rods for walleye season. Each rod was under $200 including shipping. I think they have a show special running right now that gets you an additional 17% off.
I have several Loomis rods and love them, so I am excited to see Gary back in business.
Thought I’d share this for anyone else looking for some great rods at reasonable prices.

I have not tried the Gary Loomis but do own a Kistler Helium 3 MLXF on sale they are in the $200+ range I would put them next to or a little above my StCroix Legend tournaments but not quit to my Legend Extreme’s.

I just ordered one up as well. And after I try it out I might look in to a fancy casting rod

One thing to note is the insurance policy is a separate cost from the rods. I did not add insurance to mine since I baby my stuff and have never broken any of the ones I’ve been using for years. With the G. Loomis rods I received a playing card that allows me a free replacement if I ever break one, no questions asked. I’ve never had to use one. I know they also offer a lifetime warranty on them. With the Edge rods I believe the warranty is additional cost. Still, the cost savings on the quality of these rods is worth it IMO.

Ordered on March 31st…took my money and not have heard a word. 3 emails and countless phone calls with nothing. Anyone else having issues.

That’s not good. Keep us posted

Buddy of mine who builds rods used to use their blanks (he built me a few rods off their blanks and don’t get me wrong they’re fantastic) but he’s since switched blank manufacturers due to the fact that orders were always weeks behind and often showed up damaged.
