Can’t wait to see how this compares to bird’s mega. Due out the 2nd quarter and at least Garmin is interested in finding fish
not just structure like bird’s are! Price point will be interesting for the purchase of a new unit include the UHD.
gotta bet that Lowrance will have a Garmin-style “ForwardVu” option to compete with Humminbird’s 360 soon, too.
as far as how it compares to Humminbird’s SI/DI MEGA? looks about the same to me.
Sounds cool but I won’t be buying another unit untill It will show me what is 100 yards in front of the boat at WOT on a 7″ screen or larger for under $800. So hopefully in a few years.
Well what I am hoping for is echomap 73SV UHD bundle. Will add ice bag and panoptix. This would make for a good all around unit. To make it great, it needs to be able to control and electric trolling motor(like I-Link) and work with a controller for a regular kicker(trollmaster/panther). I will keep dreaming but if the bundle comes out, I am in!
