Under the impression that on the SI when you scroll over to a fish or structure and drop a waypoint it actually drops it on the cursor?
I ask bc I’ve done this several times and it seems that it drops the waypoint where you are. Not that way on some Birds I’ve used, but maybe I’ve just been working or reading it incorrectly?

If you press “mark” it will save the location of the boat. If you move the cursor and press select it should let you save where the cursor is. I don’t remember exactly what it says though off the top of my head.
Reef has it correct as to what mark and select do.
I have this problem also and recently saw this about the mark and select somewhere but i haven’t had a chance to try it because i have been busy swapping the tubes on my pontoon for a month.
