Any updates on if they are gonna be compatible with navionics? Wasn’t there some type of lawsuit that went thru?

Looking at a new unit. Love my 73sv, but the maps are meh on most lakes. Since it can’t link with others, might go with lowrance or bird for a mapping unit. But if there will be future options of cards may reconsider.

Any tech guys got a recommendation for strictly a sonar/gps unit with easy to use make your own contours that won’t interfere with the 73? Quickdraw contours are great so it’s one thing I consider as well.

The G3 maps are garmin+navionics mapping.
Lawsuit was involving their sonar and yes they won. Units now come with the gt transducer instead of the CV.

    Interesting.

Looks like all of US is $220 for the lakevu g3. Compatible with my echomap 73sv.

Free upgrade rebates available if you have existing Nav chips, which I don’t.

The 93SV+ has Navionics already uploaded on it. Also comes with the quick draw mapping capabilities, and can work hand in hand with your 73. Great units, for a very reasonable price.
