About 3 weeks ago I saw the Garmin survey boat on the Croix try days in a row. Talked to them the 2nd day to see if they were giving away free depth finders lol. They were actively mapping the Croix south of kinnie.
I told them… “GOOD, I’M BUYING GARMIN NEXT YEAR SO HURRY UP!”
I got busy fishing and working and forgot to share the good news

I don’t know about the surrounding states but from reports I’m hearing Garmin is hitting Mn pretty hard with their boats. I think their deal with navionics going south a big push to capsize competition is underway.
This is good news. Hopefully the Croix and the other lakes being mapped will be added to the max def list of bodies of water.
Sure glad I’ve I got my Garmin club card years ago.
