Can anyone tell me why my map is all blue like this vs when it is on simulator mode… If I take it off simulator mode the screen goes darker and then the maps go all blue… I feel like I’m missing a setting somewhere,but can’t find it.

Is there a depth shading setting?
Ya, I shut that off…The green in the pictures is when I had the depth shading on.
Hit the main power button once….look at Color Mode….if this is set to night you will see a blue lake, if its set to day….white lake…If its set to Auto, Garmin has a auto detecting light sensor (like headlights for a vehicle)to determine when to change the screen based on the amount of light hitting that sensor.

Cal is right you have it in night mode or auto mode.
